The snow is slowly melting.

The weather today has been warmer than it has for a while. We actually got rain instead of snow earlier and the sun started to peek through the clouds. I had to make sure the kids got to play outside and enjoy it some. And, of course, I followed them out with my camera to snap a few shots. They were a little too busy and excited to really pose for me, but that's just fine with me! I love how this one turned out. Maddy's going to join Hyrum in the snowy sandbox.

IT'S A...

BOY!

We had the big ultrasound this morning and everything looks healthy and he is growing great and he is most definitely a HE. It is finally feeling like it is settling in that I am going to have 3 boys and a girl. I had convinced myself that he was a girl. LOL! Anyway, we are excited to welcome him into our home and family and I can not wait to meet him! For his name we are thinking Graeme (or Graham... still are deciding on the spelling) Taggart Blair. He must be a very special spirit and very meant to be in our family for how he is coming and everything. I am excited to meet him and get to know his personality. My due date is still June 2 (but hopefully I'll go on my own a little before or be induced if not).

This is a picture of his arm. It is amazing to me how much he has grown since my last ultrasound only a month ago! The ultrasound tech said that he is about 7-8 inches long now. This is a picture of his boy "parts". No question of whether or not he's a boy!

During his ultrasound he kept opening and closing his mouth... it was so cute! It definitely made it seem more real to me.

Baby Clare

So, today I am babysitting a friend's six month old daughter. I haven't seen her since she was a newborn and she seems so big now! She is just adorable and my favorite part is that she is tickelish! And her laugh is just to die for cute. Miles liked her quite a bit as long as I didn't walk away from him while I was holding her. It was quite humerous how mad he would get.

Rock and ROLL!

So, after Hyrum took a shower this morning he told me he wanted (and I quote) "spikey rockin' roll hair". I figured, eh, once in a while, it was ok for him to go to school with crazy hair. He was SO excited when he looked in the mirror after I was done. And then he even struck a pose for me to take his picture. I have a lot of him grinning ear-to-ear, but this one was my very favorite that I took.
Watch out world! Here comes the next ROCK STAR!

365

So, I am going to try this project of taking a picture a day for an entire year. I was going to do this kit that Creating Keepsakes (http://community.creatingkeepsakes.com/store/products/project_365_kit) put out, but it was sold out by the time I got my internet working this morning. I'm kinda bummed about that, but maybe I can just scrapbook it in the same way just using my own stuff that I already have (I certainly have enough to use). Anyway, I thought every once in a while I'd share the picture on the blog here. Keep me posting and sharing pictures. Here's the one I took today of Miles:After he had eaten a banana for breakfast, he was just crawling around and playing and I was eating my own breakfast and checking my email. I came in the room and he had somehow wriggled his right arm free of his shirt through his neck hole. I just could not help laughing and knew right away I had to take a picture! That's my silly little man!

Everyone have a happy new year!
