Summer pictures!

It has been SO HOT lately! I have been eating popsicles like crazy (and so have the kids). Today I got the kids swim suits on and let them (ok, Hyrum was the only one that wanted to) run through the sprinklers. Of course, I had to take some pictures. Here are my two very favorite. :)

And in other news, I believe it is safe to say that Hyrum is completely potty trained. HAPPY DANCE from Mommy! I even feel comfortable taking him to the store with underwear on. :) YAY for my big boy!

It's a...

BOY! :) We had our ultrasound yesterday. Sorry I didn't get to post about it yesterday, but it was a pretty busy day. Our ultrasound tech was awesome and explained everything to us as she was doing it. It was pretty dang obvious that he is a boy and wasn't shy in showing us either. ;) Everything looked healthy and he is measuring right on schedule too. We are all very happy and excited. His name will be Miles Graeme (the old english spelling of Graham). Miles is after my dad (it's his middle name) and grandpa (his first name). It is so nice to know his gender and get to call him by name... which gives me a little thrill each time I do! Hyrum is excited about it being a boy (or seemed to be at least) and Maddy doesn't really understand what I'm saying, I don't think.

And proof that he is indeed a HE! His bum is in the bottom of the picture with his legs spread apart and his manly parts sticking out right in the middle. ;)

I even bought his first outfit today. LOL! I went to costco to get some stuff and found an adorable outfit that I just couldn't pass up (and for $5 who can blame me???). Jay saw it and said, "uh oh. The baby shopping has begun." He is dead on. We need quite a bit of stuff before he gets here, so I figure if I just get something every now and again it won't be as hard on our budget. Plus, I get to shop longer that way. Hehe.

Tuesday's the day.

For the BIG ultrasound! We are definitely going to find out what we are having if the baby bean cooperates. We actually don't have a boy name picked out yet. Which is a shocker since I really like to have these things figured out when we are even trying to get pregnant. ;) Any suggestions? I'll be sure and post here after we find out. My appointment is at 2:30 so don't get TOO anxious when I haven't posted right away lol. I'm really excited and can't believe I am now 20 weeks (exactly today). I'm half way done! Where has the time gone??? Although, I am really starting to feel very pregnant now... by the end of the day my back is hurting and my tummy is getting BIG. I'll have to have Jay take a picture of me soon so I can share that with you all too. Have a great weekend!

I'm probably a little TOO excited about this...

but my sister had her beautiful baby girl last week and she gave me the maternity clothes that we swap back and forth between pregnancies today (she did give me some before). I just feel like I have been wearing the same 3 outfits all of the time! And anyone who knows me really well knows that that's not something that I like to have happen. Variety is a MUST! Anyway, I just started going through and pulling out anything that is not long sleeved and OH MY GOSH! My sister has bought some seriously CUTE maternity clothes since I had Maddy (she has had 2 babies since then)! I feel like my wardrobe of things that I can wear and think are cute/comfy has grown beyond measure. Hehe. Anyway, yeah, a bit too excited probably, but I can't help it! So, if you see some blonde pregnant lady with 2 kids in tow that has some cute clothes on, yeah, that's me! ;)
