Excited!

First of all, let me just say that my hubby is awesome! He is so giving and unselfish. He amazes me. Not that this is new information, but I have to reiderate it, just in case someone missed it before.

I'm excited for a few reasons... last night we went to the mall and got rollerblades for me! YAY! I think I have wanted some for a couple years now. And since I've been struggling with being the weight I would like to be, Jay decided it was time. He is such a great support to me! Anyway, I got some dang cute purple, grey, and black ones and some protective gear because we all know that I will probably fall a couple times. lol. The protective gear cost almost as much as the roller blades. I was kinda surprised about that! I can't wait until I can get on them!

While we were at the mall we also went to Bath and Body Works' since they are having their semi-anual sale that is HUGE! We got some anti-bacterial hand soap 3 for $10 and some shower gels for $3 a piece (regularily $9.50). It was SO crazy in there though!

Oh, and yet another exciting thing... there is a brand new Gymboree store in the mall!!! I just LOVE Gymboree stuff, but haven't ever been in an actual store before. They have SUCH cute clothes for kids! I will definitely be going back when I have more time to browse. I have a feeling Jay won't like that store much though. (Sorry Jay.)

Another reason I'm excited is because I got the bestest shirt ever yesterday. It is pink and has white writing across the front of it that says, "Dr Pepper". As anyone who knows me very well at all knows that I just love my Dr Pepper! I about died when I saw it in walmart. I can't find a picture of it, so you'll just have to take my word for it that it is THAT cute!

I have started cleaning for my mom once a week for 3 hours and she pays me $26 for it. That is about $100 a month. Definitely enjoy the extra cash. And I actually don't mind cleaning someone else's house with my kids not needing me (they are home with Jay). I bring my iPod and get in the zone and even work up a sweat. It is good. Definitely better than going and getting a job someplace without flexible hours and this is tax free! :)

Well, I've got quite the to do list today, so I better get going.

Can it be true???

Hyrum was throwing a tantrum because I wouldn't draw yet another circle for him (this is a never ending request). All of a sudden he stopped crying and ran in the bathroom and shut the door. I realized that my flat iron was on in there because I was waiting for it to heat up and I didn't want him to grab it and burn himself or anything, so I went in there to see what he was doing. He said, "I going to the bafroom." And proceeded to take of his shorts and diaper and put the blue's clues seat cover (one of those things you put on the toilet seat so little bums don't fall in) and sat down and peed. Not very much, but HE DID IT! I can hardly believe it! I hope this is not just a fluke and he continues to do this. A girl can hope, can't she? I gave him a big hug and we called Aunt Kara and he talked to Kara, David, and Max to let them all know that he peed in the potty. Anything to get it concrete in his head that that was definitely a good move. I'll be sure and keep you all updated on how he is doing (especially if he keeps doing well).
